Hello! We are the Youngren family: Ben, Jane, Grady, Cooper, Shane and Laney. We have a passion to see the Lord Jesus Christ magnified in Mariposa, and pray the Lord will use us to bring glory to His name in our community!

My family moved to the Mariposa area shortly before I was born. It wasn’t long after they moved that my parents were invited to First Baptist! Soon after attending, my parents committed their lives to Christ. A few years later, at the age of 6, I was saved by the grace of God!

Jane was invited to attend First Baptist at the age of 14. It wasn’t long after she came that she heard the gospel of Jesus Christ for the first time. Realizing her need for Jesus, she gave her life to Him, and accepted His gift of eternal life.

Pastor Ben and Jane were married in 2006, and were excited to begin raising a family for the Lord. After several years of learning and serving in the church, they surrendered to the call of full-time ministry and moved their family to Lancaster, CA to continue training for the ministry.

Pastor Ben graduated from West Coast Baptist College in 2021 with a degree in Pastoral Theology and was thrilled to accept the call to move back to Mariposa and serve the Lord under Pastor Shull. While on staff for three years, Pastor Ben enjoyed serving in the teen ministry, discipleship program, & community outreach.

Following the retirement of Pastor Shull, and the Sovereign timing of God, Pastor Ben accepted the Lead Pastor role at First Baptist Mariposa in June of 2024.
